"what happens in Programme Incubator"
What ..
Ultimately, Programme Incubator aims to develop a regionally competent and appropriate workforce who are able to understand how to best apply health practices and address community health issues throughout New Zealand.
A key lesson of the last decade is that career information alone (the common thread in secondary school career content) is not enough. Work experience programs provide students with an opportunity to enhance their school programs with work-related learning. Such programs are also known as "school-to-work transition programs" because they link schooling with the workplace.
However in the highly demanding, busy and complex work environment that is today’s Health Sector, work experience is becoming increasingly more difficult to achieve and is often poorly managed.
One of the application strategies by Programme Incubator is to introduce this experience and the sense of feel for health, into the classroom within a purposeful framework that maximises staff interaction.
Programme Incubator focuses on achieving results, using theories and practices of distinction, leadership conversations for effectiveness, emotional intelligence competencies, and frameworks for engaging learning and generating a sense of feel for the health sector.
